THE ANXIETY PREVENTION PROGRAMME (ONLINE)
This is an online, school-based education programme designed to deliver the support and knowledge that young people require to resolve their anxiety. The fundamental aim of this programme is to provide an effective and innovative solution for young people who are suffering from heightened anxiety and low wellbeing. This can be the result of a host of issues such as a high stress environment, low-self confidence, past adverse childhood trauma, fears around the future, challenging circumstances, etc.
From our experience, it is possible to significantly improve the adverse impact of anxiety through effective wellbeing education. The results of this education are immediate and last for life when delivered by an accomplished practitioner. When a student is experiencing high levels of wellbeing and low stress levels, they will experience similarly high levels of attainment, confidence, connection and fulfilment.
The course will be delivered online by a Mental Wellbeing in Schools practitioner via a private video conference session on Zoom Conferencing on a weekly basis for 4 weeks.
Each session will be private and 50 minutes long.
Each week, students will discuss the resources and information that we introduce them to. The programme will cover topics such as, how to get effective sleep, understanding what anxiety is, understanding how our stress-response system works, learning how to improve attainment and appreciating how to live in a state of wellbeing for the majority of their waking hours.
All students will receive a free copy of our Anxiety guide.
Through using the platform Zoom Conferencing, it is possible to deliver education that prevents and effectively supports anxiety. All calls are recorded and all data is stored via the Zoom server.
